A few years back, I started a mostly daily practice of filling a page with gratitudes. It’s a small page — about 3½ by 5 inches.
Sometimes my pages are about accomplishments like “gratitude for eight weeks of sculpture class” or “gratitude to finish my run even though I complained about it the whole time.”
But other times it’s about things that just are, like “gratitude for my cat’s big eyes,” or “gratitude to walk home from the car dealership,” or “gratitude for those three birds in that tree.”
I think it’s about describing contentment.
I highly recommend it.
